My initial contact was via a message sent to me by a trusted colleague in my LinkedIn account. I replied to his message asking if it was legit. Of course he sent a reply back stating yes and gave his reccomendation. He messaged the contact information as [email protected] and I sent Mr. John Barnes a message and he sent me more information. Mr. Barnes contacted me through email and by text message. This all started on October 16, 2018. I received a letter supposedly from the company yesterday, however the return address was from Texas. The letter contained a check for $2985 and gave instructions to visit an Apple Store near me, purchase 2 $1350 gift cards and keep $335 for my salary. After that I was to return to the same Apple Store and purchase items using the gift cards, followed by returning the items to Mr. Barnes or his associates. I still have the letter, check, and envelope.
