We have a landscaping business and the number called and said they owned the home at *** ****** ****** ********** ** and when I finally got someone on the phone they sounded like they were from Nigeria. And the home is listed for sale not under contract or pending so that was another dead give away that this was a scam. He tried to send a check for 4,000$ and we were only charging him 900.00 but once he made this odd request we knew it was a scam.
