I received a voicemail informing me that my phone number was chosen for a Daily Promo Trivia Contest for the radio station, Shadow99.

I answered three trivia questions correctly and was then informed my phone would get a text with instruction on how to claim a all inclusive Caribbean cruise for two.

The catch was that the tickets would only be released once the taxes and fees were paid in advance.

This is how the scam works. You provide your personal banking information to pay for fees and taxes and in return they wipe out your bank account.

I looked at BBB and saw that this was a scam before any damage could be done.

Shame on people who do things like this!

Trivia for “winning” a boat cruise after successfully answering three incredibly easy music trivia questions. Didn’t access links sent to mobile phone.
