An imposter claiming to be Housing Specialist.

When I first got this call through Sign-mail recorded by her requesting a callback for reasons of clarification, so on. (Like most of you, for the hearing population, it is a recording machine left by anyone). Sign-mail is either translated by sign language interpreters (I crossed out the interpreters face for the privacy or the one above this imposter claiming to be her). On my videophone, I thought to myself, I found that to be rather bit odd because, of course usually my housing specialist and myself would usually communicate by emails. Stupidly, I went for the bait using sign videophone to return the call. Of course, I wish I had double, triple checked the call which I did not. For all the reasons...I fell for it..in the moment of vulunerability.. fell for her so-called concerns.. discussing about housing, etc... for one, I did not want to stay in my current housing. It is unsafe and not sanitiary, I have been vicitim of mental abuse, lost 2/3 of my household stuff. Why should I stay at my home beyond my lease expiration. I told her, I would not want to stay in my house feeling unsafe. I want to be out ASAP, etc. She kept on imploring on. I said no!
Of course, I thought to myself... wait a minute...She is quite incorrect on few things she mentioned on the phone for one example, the District of Columbia no longer has rent freeze now that we are living post covid-19.

What am I fooling myself. this wll be added into police report as well.
