On craigslist it showed a used refrigerator, in excellent condition, for $225 plus deliver for$25. I send a text, and was told that fridge was sold, however she had another one in mint condition. She send pictures and she will deliver it at 6pm and pick up my old fridge. It was 8pm and she texted she would be late, she finally arrived with her driver at 10:30pm. She was very polite and gave me receipt with her business number, she said if there is anything wrong she would exchange within 14 days. the freezer was working and therefore I though the fridge as well. But the next day fridge was not cooling and I saw there was a big dent on the left side. I tried to call her number she never picked up, I tried her business number on the receipt, which was not her number, it belonged to someone else. I went on line and found her website none of those numbers worked. I texted her no respond, so I did some research and realized, she did the same thing to other people. The fridge she posted on craigslist, is always sold and she offers another fridge, none of the refrigerators worked. And if someone once to contact her she falls of the earth. She did finally respond a day later and said she would exchange the refrigerator and if I am not happy she would refund it, also she would fire they guy that came with her, because he apparently did not fix the fridge, and made her look bad, she would never do me wrong, and she would come by at 4pm, she was a no show. I texted again, advised her I learned about her business practice, and for her to make it right or I file a complaint. the next day her Driver (that she fired) called and said he would bring the fridge by at 2pm, no show, i called him and told him I wanted a refund, because this is a scam, he never denied it, after telling him I would file a complaint , he promised to get me the money, but he need 3 days to get it.
