I ordered shapewear through a website called Shapeology that I found via a TikTok add. I ordered the product and used the size guide to chose what size to buy for the backless bra shape bodysuit. I ordered the bodysuit on May 3rd, and received a message on May 5th that the package was shipped. I received the package on May 11th but due to being out of town was not able to try the bodysuit on until May 21st. I tried on the product which did not fit as it was too small, primarily in the bra cups. I went on the website to enquire about the return policy, which is directly stated on the website as

"Refund Policy

Hey there! Not satisfied? Please let us know how we can improve for 10% off your next order!

We are proud to offer a customer satisfaction guarantee on our products and pleased to accommodate free and easy returns or exchanges within 30 days of the delivery. We just require a photo of the product and explanation (so we can improve our products) before we begin the return process."

And

"Try us for 30 days!

If you're not 100% satisfied with your order we'll issue you a full refund!"

As I could not find a way to return through the website, I resorted to the chat feature to ask about the refund process. When I spoke to the representative, Georgia, she asked why I would like to return my item. I told her that the item didn't fit and she replied that they cannot accept a return for items that do not fit. I explained that on the website, the return policy lists free and easy returns within 30 days of purchase, which is a window I am still within. She then replied that there were changes to the return policy but the website has not yet been updated to reflect these changes. I again reiterated that as the current return policy states, there are no qualifiers as to what cannot be returned, and not being able to return due to fit was not listed on the website before purchase. She then reiterated that no refund could be process, and I asked to speak with a manager and be provided a phone number to call, as there is not one listed on the website.

When reviewing the return policy further, I noticed an oversight. In the section listed as "WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?", they say they will issue a refund when they have "received, inspected and confirmed that the returned hair extensions were not opened." The full policy is listed below:

"A full refund will be provided to the original method of payment after we have received, inspected and confirmed that the returned hair extensions were not opened. All customers must contact us after sending the package back and provide us with the tracking information in order for us to process the refund.

Note: Most financial institutions will take an average of 3-5 business days to process the refund, however, it could take longer. Please allow up to 7 business days for your financial institution to reflect the refund on your statement prior to contacting us. For more information, we recommend contacting your credit card provider."

No hair extensions are offered on this website, as this is a bodysuit and shapewear product.
