Fake Employment to obtain banking information

It's the Sharecare fake job scam. I applied to a job and received an email on July 31 that I was selected. I did Teams interview with Jamie Logel [email protected]. Jamie Logel has an actual LinkedIn account so she was hacked. I then did a phone interview with Bill Aird at the phone number below. I completed profile information for direct deposit and signed offer letter. I was then connected to Michael Lepow (has an actual LinkedIn account) on Teams to onboard me. I was emailed a check for 3, 255 and was told to deposit via mobile banking and then purchase the equipment required for my office. The check didn't have a bank so I googled the routing number and I learned it was fraud. I stopped all communication at this point. Phone number used for Bill interview was 312-933-5844

They send emails and do online interviews. If you're gullible they'll tell you, that you have the job. If you're skeptical you would not have the job. They send a check that could fool a teller and ask you to take the cash out . I never took it out i was waiting for it to clear. It showed up weeks later that it was counterfeit, and the bank snatched the money back. I was broke just as fast as i was rich. They never ask for ssn tho
