Sharkcleanusa.com scam

I shudve know $115 for a $400 vacuum was too good to be true. I was in dire need of a vacuum and am a HUGE shark fan. I am battling with paypal for a second time to get a refund.

The initial email invoice was from ToroEquipment - [email protected]. toroequipment.com is a waste water equipment company in Spain.

However, the seller, to whom PayPal originally told me I had to contact, has these two emails:

[email protected]
[email protected]

And on my email invoice it does not even state the item that was purchased it just has a link back to the site and shows Paid, process pending.

The invoice that I recvd from the pay pal investigation says:

It doesn't even say it is for a vacuum.

So, now it has been 2 months since my 1st claim with paypal and I am filing a second time.

I will let you know what happens.

I had been price tracking for a vacuum after Christmas. I saw what appeared to be a very legitimate site sharkcleanusa and purchased a vacuum for $99.00. However, after the purchase went through Paypal to Lynette Davis, phone number 402-935-7733, something immediately felt wrong. I too (like other victims) starting noticing small typos on the website copy. When I received my invoice I asked for a refund. Several days later they said they could not find my order number. I blocked their email and reported the fraudulent charge to my bank which is currently investigating it. I changed the password on my accounts and my email. I can't imagine how many others have been taken advantage of.
