Victim location 36272 type of scam: federal gov. grant

I thought a family friend was telling me about this federal gov. grant but it wasn’t really her they had hacked her Facebook messenger and I thought the grant was real till the day the money was supposed to arrive they kept on insisting money and more money. After I kept calling I noticed they didn’t really speak English and would change up their words one minute from the next. I hope no one gets done the way I did. This really should be stopped!

Received facebook messages from a person by the name of Bev Mannar stating "heres the attorney name that helped us get this grant, her name is Sharon Lynn Wilkins." She stated it was a seda grant and she contacted multiple times and was very persistent. Their grammer was not very good and stated I needed to do this before the program closes.
