I was also contacted by someone claiming to be Karen Holmes with Shaw Companies saying they got my resume on indeed and was ultimately offered a job and told instructions for the beginning of week to look for a $1495 check for payments regarding construction at site location. I was told also there would be write offs and payments needed to take care of flight, hotel stays, itinerary for get coming back to states...was told my annual salary of 55,000 and different tasks of what the role entailed when starting at office location the 29th of April and would also get paid $950 for the previous week taking care of the check and things mentioned above. I felt like this was definitely too good to be true and so before communicating anymore, I started researching and found this page...

I applied for a job on indeed.com. I was offered a job without a meeting. They stated they couldnt call me.

Then i was texted and sent emails with this information below: "Please be informed that a donation check of $1495 will be coming your way on Tuesday. This check is payment towards the construction going on at the office. I will inform you of details of tasks that I need taken care of with the check which includes, (Pricing out items, I have pending bills, flights itinerary back to the states / Hotel reservation). All these errands will be done by you next week prior to my arrival and I shall be paying $950 as said above for these errands and services".

Then a fake check made out to me was sent to my HOME! This is terrifying! They wanted me to deposit it in my bank then take more steps? Absolutely not! Stay away from these people and don't get scammed!
