Late 2021, made a Lifetime purchase for security and support for computer problems. Paid $599. Today, I have a computer problem and called the number for technical help with my laptop. Wrong company and wrong number, I was told by the person who answered.

Scam calls from 866-236-3017 are related to Shelby Corp for Tech Scams. The number is to Macroland B-Serv (macrolandbserv.com) and they are a marketing company that also serves as a call center. The address on their website is 90 Holly Street, Unit 2 Port Reading, NJ 07064 (Apartment).

This happened to a close friend of mine in his 80s who got locked out of his computer. This lead to a $500 charge to get back into his computer via a scanned check.

They claimed to be a website by the name of UltraViewer which seems to be a legitimate website however charged for a product they do not offer or even mention and has nothing to do with their product. "Network Firewall Security and Support".

And when a report was filed i was met with a website in a Vietnamese language (Which later found out this is where the company is based).
