July 11 2024 While viewing Facebook on a site called “Sheltie lovers and rehoming” I received a message from a Mury Queen that she had a female puppy for sale. She stated she was from Deadwood South Dakota. And she would meet me halfway for delivery at Billings Montana on July 15, 2024. She sent me a lot of pictures and a video of a puppy. We agreed I would send 500 through Zelle and 300 upon exchange of the puppy. On July 12, 2024, I had never used Zelle before but went through my bank and tried to send her 500 to her at [email protected] name was Kaylynn Taylor, it didn’t work so she gave me phone no# 312-399-4596 in the name of Tresor Marshall saying that’s her husband. As I was typing that in, she said no use her daughters account at [email protected] in the name of Nancy Madison. That went through. The day before our meeting (July 14, 2024) she requested I go buy 3 Apple gift cards for 100$ each. I told her I couldn’t until I get to our exchange town. On July 15, 2024, I arrived 1/2 hour early and she messaged me asking if I purchased the gift cards, I said I did. She said I was to send her a picture of the receipts and open the cards and send her the card numbers. I said no she could have them upon giving me the puppy, we argued over messenger, and she didn’t show up after 1 hour and a half, so I left to drive 4 1/2 hours home. I immediately stopped at a bank and reported her and my money transaction to my bank. July 15, 2024, upon getting home I reported her to the Facebook account admin name of Smith Bachart. He said he couldn’t believe it and would handle her but to give him the gift card info and he would pick up the puppy and he would bring it to me himself. So, I did. Next thing I know July 16, 2024, he is messaging me that his dad was ill, and he had to send the puppy to my address by a carrier called Fast Track for another 100$ Apple gift card and they would be contacting me through my email account. July 16, 2024, Fasttrack did contact me by email and asked me what kind of class and crate size for shipment to use. Then told me I would have to pay for the crate type, 1000, 800 or 500. I told him no; he said I owned the puppy, so I had to pay it. In the meantime, Smith was telling me he paid 300 to have it shipped. I told Fasttrack that he paid. Fasttrack said I owe 500. I told them I was broke, they told me to download Apple Pay to my phone and pay the 500 that way. I refused to do that because they had me send the first 500 by Zelle and by reporting that to my bank, I told them the bank frozen my accounts. I got tired of arguing with them and blocked them both. I have pictures saved of all my conversations from the very beginning with all three different people. July 18, 2024, It has been a week now and I am trying to deal with the humiliation of getting scammed. There’s no one to help, I know now why people kill themselves over being scammed.
