The link where I ordered it from stopped working when I went to return the item after I received it. The company listed on the FB page & receipt is "Tool-mighty.store". But it showed up on my PayPal activity statement as "Shenzhen Haizhide E-commerce Co., Ltd." There's no address or other contact info. listed anywhere. I've read (too late) on a PayPal community forum that a lot of other PayPal users got scammed by the same company. One person said he somehow managed to contact the company & request a refund, but the company refused to refund more than 30%, but only if the item was returned to a non-existent address in China @ his own expense. (He checked the address in the town given, & it doesn't exist). He says PayPal refuses to help.
The item is just listed as "multifuctional table board", but no model or item # is given.
I paid: $19.99 plus $4.99 shipping--$24.98 total
The item advertised looks like real wood, at least 2ft wide, by about a foot deep, and possibly a foot tall. It advertised compartments on each sides to hold a cell phone, pens, a cup, etc. It showed a folding/adjustable flap to hold a book or papers while one types or reads when sitting or lying down in bed or on a sofa.
Instead, I received a 9"x10" flimsy plastic 3-piece thing (no thicker than cardboard) that very loosely fits together like a jig-saw puzzle, with no compartments whatsoever, no adjustable flap, it falls apart unless it sits undisturbed ontop of a table (defeating the purpose of using it in one's lap while comfortably leaning back or lying down on a sofa or bed...necessary in my case, as I have a bad back & can't sit upright at a table for more than 5 mins), & I doubt it would even hold a small (paper) notebook because the ledge is so narrow & slippery. It's basically useless plastic landfill garbage--& most definitely not @ all what I ordered! It was a clear-cut scam, a case of false advertising, & a waste of resources just creating useless plastic that'll be filling up landfills!
I'd like a refund & I'd like this "company" to stop their scams!
Item received was not even close to item advertised. Rcvd item much flimsier, smaller, no compartments, no folding/adjustable piece to hold book/paper
