Normally, my family chooses to adopt locally through our humane society. However, my dads dream dog has been a basset hound since before he became my father. When we saw this person we figured that because of the hurricane, they just needed extra cash and selling their puppies cheaper then they would normally was how they would go about this. Except when we picked a dog they initially asked for 700 for the dog. Then they needed another 1000. Then they needed another 1000. Then they needed another 2000. We didn't give them the 2000, but we did end up loosing 2700 total.
