During a legitimate job search, Shipmax LLC reached out about a shipping agent job. The website seemed legit, there were encouraging news articles about the organization, no obvious red flags, and it was registered in Florida. After an interview, reviewing the employee manual and contract, I thought it was a legitimate opportunity. Thirty days in, no paycheck, and all communication stopped. I am deeply ashamed that I got scammed. If these folks reach out, block them.
