Shipping Scam Reports & Reviews (29)

I listed engines for sale on a boat broker website. I was contacted via text by A man claiming to be Tom Stacey at Next Truck. He proceeded to ask questions about my listing, and appeared to have knowledge of the engines I was selling. Said he would Send a check for the amount I wanted for the engines plus an additional amount to pay the shipping company that would pick them up. the shipping company he told me was Eagle coast shipping inc. He told me the check had been mailed out on a Friday the 3rd and was supposed to arrive before the following Tuesday the 7th. He had arranged for the shipping company to show up on friday the 10th. the check finally arrived on Thursday the 9th. the shipping company contacted me on Wednesday the 8th confirming Friday the 10th pickup and asking my agreement to terms. Saying I would pay half the shipping to them upon pickup. half the shipping would have been $4435.00. I told the shipping company I had not received the check yet and would not consent to the shipping date if the check had not cleared. The check arrived and I went directly to my bank to deposit the check. There were some red flags when I opened the envelope with the check. the shipping address said it Came from ALTIA INC, 111 S TEJON ST. STE 204, Colorado Springs, CO. The Check said is was from 365 Strong powerlifting federation LLC. P.O. Box 253 Fort Mill SC, 29716. I took it to the bank to see what they thought, and they believed there were some obvious red flags. They were unable to verify the account number with the bank name on the check. So we are convinced this is a scam when they intentional delay the funds but set up a date with a 3rd party shipping company to try and get you to pay for the shipping before the check has been cleared.

I received a random package I didn’t order. Return address 475 supreme dr Bensenville il

Solicited my husband to do shipping from home work after locating his Indeed account. Pay offer was $2400-$3300 per month but did not make sense why they should ship products to him to then ship elsewhere. Seemed bogus to us.

They offered employment it sounded to goo to be true so I investigated through ScamPulse.com and found similar articles.

These people lied to me and used me to ship out packages to addresses that we’re committing identity theft, and promised me monthly payments of $3,500!!!

I was referred to this company but another member of an online group to get parts from. The individual was prompt and sent pictures of the parts ahead of time. Supposedly packaged and shipped the parts via USA Express Mail (another scam company). Once they parts showed tracking from CA to Nashville TN, the shippers sent an email stating that they needed a $250 refundable insurance deposit to make the delivery. I contacted the shipper who eventually stated he would take care of it. Then the shipper stopped responding to my messages and blocked me. The shipping company wont verify they have a package and still want the deposit to deliver.
