I accidentally replied to an email asking me to become a 'shopper' at Kroger and receive discounts. I must have given them my mailing address, because they sent me the following information, which included a check for $1850.00 and asked that I spend all but $310 of it on the purchase of AmEx Gift Cards worth $1500 (in $200 or $500 denominations). (See attached). I did not act on any of their instructions in the 'letter.' I will tell you that their English was poor--for example, they did not use the articles 'a' 'an' and 'the' correctly.
