I clicked on FB a link to become a secret shopper. I gave my name, address, email, phone#. A day later I received an email asking if I was interested in being a secret shopper. I said yes. They sent me a Citibank cashier check for $2,395.10. It says to cash or deposit check within 24 hours. The job is related to American Express gift cards. I thought the check had cleared because the full amount was available in my account. They asked me to buy 4 American Express gift cards and test the service at the stores. Then revert back to them and send pictures of the gift cards to them for information purposes. 4 days later my bank account is on hold because the cashier check was fake. I am responsible for the overdrawn on my bank account and the money on the gift cards is gone because I sent them a picture and they used them.
