Thanks for your interest in the Shipping/Receiving Agent position with our company! Shopping Unlimited is a group of shopping and delivery experts. Our clients are shoppers located abroad who would like to peruse awesome offers available only to customers living in the United States.
Since most American stores offer domestic delivery options only, our job is to provide our clients with a US address, make sure their orders are received damage-free and without delays, and finally deliver these items straight to them. As a Shipping/Receiving Agent, you will be responsible for the following:
- Picking up the packages with the client purchases sent to your home address by UPS, USPS and Fedex. Please note that you don't need to travel to pick them up elsewhere.
- Performing the initial inspection of the received shipments for any damage, misplacements or inconsistencies. If there are any, you must send photos with a report to your supervisor and request a replacement.
- Assembling and repacking the deliveries if a client would like to receive multiple packages in a single delivery or order gift wrapping. The company covers the cost of extra packaging materials.
- Finally, sending the packages to the end customers. All packages must be sent to clients within 24 hours upon their receipt: in this case no extra room will be required to store them.
The company also provides pre-paid shipping labels as well as covers any gas expenses, if you need to drive to the closest post office.
This is a home-based part-time job which takes about 4 hours daily, Monday to Friday. Some deliveries may arrive on weekends during the high season; we usually notify you about such cases in advance and pay overtime.
Shippping/Receiving Agents receive a standard fee of $30 per each processed package; there also are extra bonuses:
- $25 paid for completing each delivery by the given deadline,
- $5 paid for each fully photographed shipment: the contents of it, the label & invoice plus any additional documentation,
- $15 paid for each shipment received without a prior notice: sometimes out clients make deliveries first and notify us about them later.
Paychecks are available right after processing every 15 packages; we guarantee a minimum base pay of $3200 per month. New contractors startreceiving deliveries within 1-2 weeks since the start date, so the first paycheck could be a bit postponed; however, once your workflow is organized, the pay is steady.
