I was an employee for this store, serveral customers would come in looking for help and answers because of "down payments" they made towards their devices rhat were not on their accounts and even though they made the payments the prices of the devices did not change. The business will increase the cost of the devices by the amount they say the customer need to pay for their "down payment" or "security deposit" when none is ever required. The business pockets that amount of money as 100% profit. Ive seen customers come in with invoices where they were charged $700 down payments for devices they thought they were purchasing outright in full, but the business instead inflated the cost of the device and financed the remainder of the cost (which is the normal cost of the device) onto the customers account, without informing the customer. This is merely the tip of the iceberg. So many people have been done wrong, and no one in the business cares. When its brought to anyones attention, from the store level all the way up to the owner, everyone kicks the can down the road saying theres nothing we can do for you hoping the customer goes away. They do retain customer and employee sensitive information, and share it when they see a chance to profit or benefit from using the information, such as creating account people never came into store or online to set up, or letting current employees impersonate past employees when the current employee has had their log in codes blacklisted by Verizon. Do not do business here.
