The scam is about a defective product, Shower Wizard, and about the different return addresses. I received my package via First Class US POSTAL. The sender's label reads this address: 20 Cavanaugh Lake Rd, CHELSEA, Michigan, 48118-9732. But if you Google map this, you'll find nothing ressembling a Business, it's in the middle of nowhere. After my emails and after two voice messages left at this number 734-320-3679, a man, saying he's the business owner, Tim Moore, called me and asked what was wrong with the unit. He agreed to give back my money plus the Handling fees and Taxes from the Canada Border Agency ( 24,47$). He insisted to see the unit to test it and find out what was defective. So he gave me another address, different from the sender's: 111 East Main Street, Parma, MI, 49269. I was supposed to write a letter, put it with the product in the box, send it to this different address in Parma, MI. And a cheque of 24,47$ would be sent to me. My first choice was to receive a new functional unit because my teenager's showers are very long and expensive... I need this costly Water Bills problem to come to an end. But I said I was open to receive a refund instead. That was yesterday, over the phone. If I Google Map this address in Parma, it shows a US Postal Office. After I left another message today, he called back 10 min. later and responded to my comment about the "middle of nowhere" address and the US Postal Services address, by saying that was only to allow less delay, a few days difference in the expedition/reception time. Which I don't trust. It sounds really fishy. Then, I visited again the website, where we find the Contact us page, I realized that there's a 3rd address: 33 300 Warren Rd, Suite15, Westland, Michigan 48185. It feels as if he was about to ask, or will in the futur, my card number for the refund to be deposited in my account. I'm stuck with that box because I'm not sure where to send the defective product. Also by email I had received a strange statement, on Dec. 7th (right after a positive reply about the label on the same day): "Hello ******, We apologize for this update, we are unable to provide a shipping label within the US as per Shopify's rule. We can refund you for the shipping costs after we receive the product and inspect it.Thank you,Shower Wizard Team". Is it me or something is not right, why can't they make up their mind about a shipping label? Their refund policy on their website is very clear: do not send the defctive product without a label and without approval by the Shower Wizard team.
