This company targets elderly business people who have "won" awards (i.e. Best Personal Injury Lawyer in X County) by presenting themselves as the plaque distributor. My dad, who is 82, received such an email and also corresponded by phone with someone asking nearly $2000 for "placement" for this award or some such. These practices are highly predatory and affect people on a limited income who are nonetheless vulnerable to ego-boosting scams.
