My husband and I are looking for Siberian kittens, and we stumbled upon a Facebook group that sells Siberian for $800(first red flag). First I asked her what the cattery's name was and does she have a website, she said the website was "down" and that is why she's using Facebook instead. We wired her $150 deposit through Zelle but the money did not go through according to her and she is using her "daughter" Zelle account(red flag #2). She asked if we could send the deposit again to another Zelle account but we didn't budge until we knew where the money went. We google searched some of the photos that she posted on the group and most of the photos did not belong to her; we asked her to send real-time photos of the cat's parents but she did not send photos but just came up BS excuse. She stole the photos from a real Siberian cattery called Caspian Siberians Cattery.

I’m the same. Lost $ 457 On my birthday last week, I attempted to adopt a Siberian cat, which has been my dream for a long time. I found a large group on Facebook where was very active moderator, I was writing her personal message, she was so nice, ask me which kitten I want to take and a lot question how I live, and I have seen that she wants to be sure that kitten will have a good owner. Everything looks good. I paid a deposit and we talked about the delivery, and I paid for it. I received a video of the kitten from her. I inquired if it was a different kitten, but she replied that it's common. Do you think it might be an absolutely white cat with blue eyes that looks like dark gray with brown eyes? I already understood that I had made a significant mistake, but it was still fascinating to watch what would transpire next. On delivery day, they sent me an email confirming that the cat is there, but I need to pay an extra 500 dollars for insurance because it's my first delivery cat. I discovered information there, but unfortunately, it was too late. Sadly, I wasn't the only one to be harmed by her. The group has more than 10,000 individuals, but I think about 9,800 of them are from one country, Vietnam, which creates a false impression.

I was looking for a siberian cat and came across this website, i asked for some info on a kitten and then they emailed me asking questions. once i answered them they accepted me and wanted me payment information. When i emailed them back about how i’m not comfortable with sending payment like this they stopped responding so i looked up their info and everyone on google said it’s a scam. I’m so glad i didn’t send any payment. This is so sad how people just scam others over an animal ): Please be aware
SCAM BREEDERS!

I am the real Terra and yes there is a copycat scammer out there. I now require phone calls and i am located in michigan. I have raised sibbies for 15 years. Please people there is no such thing as a $500 siberian kitten.

I found kittens for $600 at https://terrasiberiankittens.com/
I have been emailing them today at [email protected].
I asked 3 separate times what their name is and If could speak to them and each reply email answered other questions but not that.
The last email we sent was that we want Daisy but will be out of town and wanted to get her next week. They said yes as long as we could go ahead and pay. That seemed fishy so I looked it up and here it is. Definitely a scam!

Same scammers, looks like they changes the website to terrasiberiankittens.com. I am short $645, as i also got fooled with videos and photos and frequent chats.
We convinced them to use Venmo instead of Zelle and the name on the Venmo was Travis Mitchell.

Address they gave us was in 27 Cherry Circle, Glen Mills PA, and the last digits on the Venmo # did not match the one they were SMS/ texting us.

Email they used: [email protected]

We reported them on IC3, FTC, BBB and attorney general
Also notified Venmo

This is so sad to me. I contacted them about a kitten for my daughter and they were so responsive. Deep down I was skeptical but I kept asking questions and they had great and quick responses. They Sent photos and video.
I paid $600 for pick up and the airport and then - nothing. Literally no more contact. And my daughter is up looking at the photos of a kitten that she’s been dreaming of and I’m feeling terrible for getting her hopes up and allowing myself to be scammed like this. Sad world we live in!

I just reversed image searched a guy I wanted to buy and this [censored] is still trying to pull this scam. I'm reporting him to both State and Country officials. They emailed me at [email protected], in case you want to as well.

Seemed legit wish I would have did some more research horrible people I wish the worst of the worst for whom ever is behind this

Started emailing, very responsive. He would send a response email immediately. Even sent me a video of the cat I wanted and would ship tomorrow, for free? I came on here and read all the complaints and found I was a couple steps away from being scammed. I sent an email back that said: I have read bad reviews about your cattery and I cannot afford to lose my money so thank you for the responses but we were not interested.
Never heard from him again. I would not trust this cattery.

I was looking to buy a kitten after the sudden death of my previous cat. Now, my mother has allergies, and I was trying to be a good child, and find something that would have been easier on her allergies. I found this website, and their reviews looked good, and in the description of their cats and kittens, they specified that they breed these cats for their "hypo-allergenic" natures. I was so excited, so I contacted the seller. At first, they were very responsive, and even sent me a video of the kitten I was going to purchase. They answered all my questions via Text and email, up until they got my money. Then they went radio silent. I tried calling, texting, emailing, but received nothing further. It's been over a month now, and still nothing. Attempts to get a refund have proved less than fruitful. I just want those who are looking for hypoallergenic cats to be aware that this website is completely phony. They've targeted allergic people, and I just feel that's so disgusting.

Went to website, read about the kittens and breeders. Selected the 2 kittens I wanted and completed the application. The person contacted me via email to answer questions which I did. He asked me if I had zelle and I said no. I then sent gift card and today I got an email saying this
Hello
I just finished registering the kitten
The delivery company will email and call you on departure and arrival time
please provide me monthly pics of how the kitten is doing in its new environment
Thanks

I paid for 2 kittens, I am out 1200 dollars. He has not replied to any emails I sent since.

We found the site on google and were very interested in purchasing one of the kittens. The kittens were very cute, the “reviews” looked good, and the site was overall pretty and looked legit. We contacted the people. They said that they were a family breeder and asked us to answer some about our family and household. They also asked for bank information, not just zelle info, in the very first email. We got suspicious at this point and did not provide them with this info. There was no reason for them to need bank info if we were going to zelle them? They responded to us again, making no comment about our answers but still insisting on bank info. At this point we googled the guy and his site, obviously finding this. We never actually gave him any money, but still don’t buy from this site. Looks legit on the surface but the details are very sketchy. Sorry to anyone who did fall for this.

It is truly horrible I fell for it I hope these people rott in hell

We thought we was purchasing at Siberian kitten sent the money and now NO CONTACT! I will be contacting the bank! And if I have to hire a attorney I most definitely will! Please BEWARE! I didn't know of this site before but now I will most definitely start looking more into things!

What was your attorney's response to this issue? Is there any recourse? Did you get your money back?

We thought we were purchasing a kitten and paid $650 through Zelle. The site was beautiful and had excellent reviews. As soon as we paid, we stopped hearing from them. We have contacted the police and intend on exposing them and pressing charges.
We are also working with the bank to find out who is behind this. We are fortunate to have lawyers in the family that will not charge.
This is the most horrible of scams as it is heart breaking for the person disappointed and disillusioned at the [censored] people can be.

Used this organization to purchase a Siberian kitten to be sent to me. Completed a contract and sent $650 through Zelle for delivery of the kitten from Texas. Once they got my money I never heard from them again. Called the number listed on their fake contract and went to voicemail saying it was a Text only number but to leave a message. Zelle account info showed payment going to [email protected]. Supposed to stand for Jasqueline Killingsworth.

Attached are pictures of kitten used by this scammer.

Wow, I’m currently talking to the same people and they also told me they were in Clarion, PA. They also told me $600 if I pick the kitten up or $650 delivered to my home. Hmm sounds fishy. ?

Just curious, when he first contacted you, did he gave you his contact number & his home address? I found this kitten exactly from other website.

This seller seems very rush sending the kitten out like the next day. All his kittens are $600 each. He said he lived in Clarion, PA.

I wanted to buy an emotional support pet for my daughter. We decided upon a Siberian cat because they are lower maintenance, very affectionate and my husband has allergies. After checking out local shelters, we were advised that finding specific breeds were going take awhile, if at all. So we found this site online and inquired about the cost of a specific kitten. They emailed and texted me the next day, saying that it was $500 which includes the shipping. We asked each other background questions, and they were pretty timely on responding. However, they never indicated what their name was. They only mentioned that they had a wife. They even sent more pictures and a video of the kitten. The person in the video was not speaking English, it was a female voice, but no face was shown. And when I asked to speak with them, they asked 'when?' I said 'now is fine', and they never obliged. I finally decided to make the payment anyway. First they wanted me to use cashapp, then they changed to Zelle. They asked me to send it to their wife Juanita Fryar [email protected]. After that they said that they would ship the kitten tomorrow. The next day, I reached out a couple times and they told me that they dropped the kitten off at the airport and that the shipping company would be emailing me.

The shipping company ULTRA CARGO LOGISTICS ([email protected]) sent me the biggest red flag, it was a scam email that was complete with bad grammar and lies. They said that there is bad weather between Pennsylvania and Michigan (false) and so my kitten needs to stay in some fancy crate which costs between $960 - 2000. I should click on the tracking link or call 814-247-7241 to make arrangements. I did not do either one. Then they called, trying to convince me to click on the link or my kitten may freeze to death. I told them to send my kitten (if there is a kitten) in the original crate and they told me they would email me again in an hour. I reaching out to my bank about the $500. But, I am sure that I am not spending anymore. BEWARE PEOPLE!!!!
