I was contacted by someone named Jhay Jude through email and the connected with a Richard Scott on zoom. They are fake names and not connected to this company trying to get peoples information by pretending to hire you.

Fake Job Offer

Got an email - not sure where they got my info from - about a job offer.
Was told to set up a zoom account so I could talk to the hiring manager. Looked odd because:
1. It said to pick a position out of all the available vacancies
2. The email was @gmail.com and not @(companydomain).com

I immediately googled the name of the sender and the company name then stumbled on this website.

Hello I had been filling out application on indeed a few days later I was notified for a job offer . By eddy Santos he sent me out a welcome letter and w4 and a check to deposit for Materials and equipment to start work from home . I thought it was odd so I decided to look on line and that’s when I found this page . I’m worried I don’t know what to do or who to contact I don’t wanna be in trouble for a scam I just wanted a Honest work from home job just been more time with my children I thought it was a legit company but now I have to see all this and the reviews I never thought that this could be a scam like I thought it was legit because I was contacted from them through indeed.

Only my email was from “Doug Holland" the “hiring manager”, offering a position starting at 35.75/hr working for SIG Combibloc Group from home. Supposedly sending check for office set up. Sounded too good to be true. Sure enough searched on Google and came across other experiences as well! Very sad to take advantage of people!

Only my email was from “Scott Douglas” the and “Jacob Grant”, the “hiring manager”, offering a position starting at 35.75/hr working for SIG Combibloc Group from home. They sent me the W-4 letter and letter of employment and everything. And I thought it was legit, but my bank told me that the same check and situation was likely a fraud. Here was his email:

Fraudulent Job Offer

Was texted by Amy Donovan to set up a Zoom chat with Ricardo Rodriguez. Texted Ricardo and was offered a position immediately as project manager and the job description was clerical duties. Wanted to know my bank information and mobile service company. When asked for a job offer to be sent to me, there was evasion and ultimately the chat was dropped.

I have been looking for work at home. I got a text message saying that they were from SIG and that my resume looked to meet qualifications. Then after I responded they asked me to download zoom. Afterwards we communicated through zoom. This lady messaged me daily. Then they sent me an offer letter and a W4, after I returned them, about 2 days later I received a check that was suppose to be to buy supply’s and technology to set up my home office, the check was for $6,360.00. I put the check in the bank and it was returned as fraudulent or fictitious. I was charged for that return. I let her know and that the bank returned my check and nothing from her.
