Was looking to purchase a pink handgun (sig p365) for my wife as a present. Sigsauerarmory.com had this available for $579.00, so I checked out and paid via Zelle. However, the shipping service put the delivery on hold to the FFL dealer due to insurance, and asked me to Zelle $300 to clear it for delivery. Upon research of the shipping company and the website, I concluded this was a scam. The seller only accepts Zelle and cryptocurrency.

I was about to make a purchase on this website but felt uneasy about it so I decided I would call them first. I was unable to find a phone number email or address. What set off the flag was they only take Zelle and crypto for payment. I just wanted to prevent future consumers from getting scammed

I ordered a firearm to be sent to my dealer. I sent the money and everything on the website looked correct and didn’t throw any red flags to me. I sent the money and a week later received an email stating my order was canceled and money was gone. Tried contacting again and have since been unable to do so.
