I have been diligently searching for a home for rent. This particular ad and multiple others have ads for homes requiring a fee to gain financial information, taking legitimate posts and putting their info. My phone and address was changed to hers, and multiple charges of $900+ as well as a $5,190 amount to RMTLY which sends money overseas. Most accounts like this joined Marketplace in 2024 and the same property shows in different ads all with different prices. I have made multiple attempts to contact Marketplace about this scam but there are so many different accounts and you can only report the scam affecting you personally.
