A few days later I received texts from a recruiter by the name David Richardson from the company Silver Creek Family Medicine, offering 15 hr training 35 after with flexible hours. It sounded to good to be true so I did my research and discovered it is an important scammer.

I was contacted by a recruiter who called herself Bella Smith via text message and that her recruitment team found my resume on a career site & considered me for a role in Data entry position for the company Silver Creek Family Medicine. She then told me to go via Microsoft Teams to interview with the hiring manager named Michael Robert or Robert Michael whichever. We spoke regarding my experience and then he told me I was hired on the spot. I asked for an offer letter and he didn’t give me one. He later told me I would have to purchase materials/accounting software to do my job and to deduct $200 for myself as a signing on bonus. He would send me a check via email to deposit through my bank online. Everything was credible in a sense that even the check was valid for the amount he put on it. The next day in the morning as I was scrolling through my LinkedIn feed I saw this employer warning people in regards to this fraud business named Silver Creek Family Medicine and how it’s a spam risk to not fall for it - it’s not real. I felt incredibly ignorant & gullible to have fallen for such a fraudulent case. As soon as I read that post I quickly stopped payment on the check and called a Chase customer service to report this fraudulent activity - to not deposit that money into my account. I want nothing to do with any of that crime. This spam hackers are truly going above and beyond now trying to hack innocent people while they are looking for jobs unbelievable. This has been a horrible nerve wrecking experience I hope no on falls prey to this type of situation.

I'm actively looking for a job and I can't even begin to tell you how many of these guys have tried to reach out to me for a 'job'. I'm exceedingly frustrated with this, I'm worried that I may accidentally lash out to someone that is legitimate and ruin my chance for a new job because of these people.

They told me they were hiring and were going to interview me for the position then they hired me after asking so manny questions and they said they will send me a check to buy my equipment.

I was on teams with Michael Duckworth for 45 minutes doing and interview, I have never done an interview like this before, but I thought everything was okay, until he asked me to stay logged in so he could pass my information to the head department to see if I was a good fit or not. Well I went back through the conversation and was told from the beginning I was a good fit. So I decided I was going to look this person and company up, and what do I discover is it's a scam.

So I received a message from a Ryan Costello they reviewed my resume and wanted to interview means to do so I had to download a app the interviewer was Eric Silva and after a lengthy interview they offered me a job I accepted but things kept going wrong after some communication I got so Suspicious and finally I told them no this is a scam, they admitted it and said “ ok fine now you know” Im flabbergasted at how some people can be so callous the number they used is 1(828) 222 0424

Received a text from an Andrea Atkinson stating they’d seen my resume on Indeed, which was odd because I don’t use Indeed. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they meant to say LinkedIn, and they gave me a number for an interview via Signal. I didn’t think this was too odd, since I’d had a legitimate online interview through another messaging app, but it was after email correspondence first. Anyway, she gave me the number 856-202-7271 for Michael Duckworth, who went through basic interview questions then “hired” me on the spot. He also stated a check to buy equipment would be sent via email, which I thought was very strange. I googled to see how to tell if a job is a scam, and the article I found said to be weary of any checks because often they’ll bounce at the bank. Additionally, I could only find a family practice with this name in Oregon, when he had said he was from Georgia. When I started probing him for more info, he stopped responding.

I also received a text message from an Andrew Atkinson and did a chat interview via Wire. I was given a series of interview questions which I answered and was “hired” on the spot.

Most of the messages were unprofessional and was conducting the interview late at night past regular business hours.

I made the effort to ask more questions about the company and did not receive very detailed answers. I also found that some questions would come off aggressive or demanding.

Do NOT follow through no data entry position pays $35 an hour. They are trying to wire money. I never completely went through with the hiring process because of this site.

Just like some of the above individuals, I received a text from an Andrew Atkins as well. From the pics that I've posted, you can see a different name but the same scenario. The company is legit but these people are using it to get money from others. I looked these people up while the interview process was going on and immediately deleted them after seeing this site.

I was also a bit some of this company. They just scammed me out of $1700 Michael Duckworth was my manager and they also sent me a fake check for over $30,000 And I turned it into my bank.

I applied for a remote data entry job and I received numerous texts but this one I replied to. Odd that they all wanted me communicate via signal messenger when they were already messaging me via text. For a legitimate business, their grammar was way off. A lot of text errors in their communication seemed more and more like a scam. I received an email regarding my 'official' documentation of my hire and I was to send back a copy of my drivers license as well as sign the documents to confirm I accept their job offer. It all seemed too good to be true as well. Who pays +$35 for a data entry position? In any case, I called the business that the individual claimed that he was working with and right off the bat, the receptionist said it was a scam and that I should report it. Along with the documents I was to sign and return to confirm I accept the job position, a photo i.d. was included of the supposed individual that I was messaging. I looked him up and he had a record dating back to 2018 in Michigan. I don't believe he's the actual person that I was messaging, however. But who actually knows? He could be the same individual or someone could have stole his identity as well. The first number that reached out to me stating I was a good candidate came from a 224-545-5428 which is out of Illinoi according to what my phone says the text originated from.
