Silver Ink Literary Agency contacted me to find a publisher for my book. They helped me get the book ready for the bidding, but left me flatfooted when it came down to actually meeting the various publishers. I paid a lot of money to get the book up to the standard, but was never introduced to a publisher.

While the Agency delivered on its obligations of the book, that quickly changed in 2021. when they wanted $12,000 to assign a publicist to promote the book. I paid the money but never got a publicist.

Mr. Tom Mackay from the agency contacted me and offered a contract to turn my book into a Netflix movie. He promised to share the cost of the production, I paid him $20,000 to move the project forward. He never produced the movie.

After self-publishing, I was contacted by Mr. Day who said he would represent my book to traditional publishers on a hybrid basis, meaning I would share the cost of preparing my book for major publication. Day said his agency did not belong to the Better Business Bureau because the ScamPulse.com "makes mistakes." I trusted that, to my dismay. I paid $2,500 for editing, which was little more than a grammar correction, and $3,000 for "republishing" my title with Amazon. After 3 months, Day told me he had found a major publishing house, but would need $6,000 to get me a legal expert who would guarantee my rights during the signing of a new contract. Excited, I volunteered to fly to Reno to sign a Routledge (publisher) contract in person rather than electronically. This was the last communication between Silver Ink and myself.
