We were looking to adopt a hairless cat and found some online. The Silver Spring Cattery first told my husband they were in Columbus, OH (over text) and later told me (over email) they were in Austin, TX. While they provided pictures, they did not ever provide real details like birthdate, their address or vet records. They wanted a deposit, but my bank warned me about Zelle and pet scammers. We offered to pay cash (through a family member who lives in Austin), but never heard back.
