Someone named BRAD "MURRY" from "SILVER STONE CONTRACTING LTD." approached our friends, an elderly couple, in the Parksville/Qualicum Beach area and said they would demoss roof, powerwash driveway and seal and a couple other minor repairs to porch. They showed up in an unmarked white truck, L/N NA 2885. They ended up power washing their fibreglass roof!! Therefore affecting the integrity of the roof and voiding any warranties! The worst part is that they took $19,000 CASH without providing a receipt. "Brad" initially provided a "Contract/Invoice" that said it would cost $8,500.00. On this "Contract" there is no B/N, no WorkSafe #, no insurance information, just two phone numbers: Vancouver: 604-404-6880 and Victoria: 250-880-4107. The Vancouver # matches a "HENRY LEE" (from the attached email he sent) and we managed to contact him. However, he never answer our call, he waiting until it went to a computer voice mail, and within seconds called us back. He refused to provide his Business Number and Worksafe #. After refusing to answer any of his questions, and repeatedly continuing to ask for the business number, he hung up. They are impersonating a legitimate company based out of Alberta.
