They got me!

After buying tons of stuff on the internet for the last 15 years and never having a problem I was feeling pretty confident I knew what I was doing but this website looked so real I gave them all my info and then it kicked me off the site and I had a bad feeling.
Sure enough after about 30 days I don't have a new SS card and I was charged $35 but Master Card took it off my bill. My pride took a beating!

I wanted to report a scam. Simpleportal.com. I do not have their address and phone number. I thought I was going into the Social Security website. I was trying to get a replacement Social Security card for my son. I found it online. I had searched Social Security Replacement Card. Charged $35. They did not disclose how much I would be charged. That was a red flag when they wanted my credit card number. I gave my debit credit card number. I called Social Security Security. They told me it is a scam. We do not charge for a replacement card. The scammer had asked for my name and address. I gave it out. I contacted my bank and cancelled my debit card. I thought I was communicating with Social Security. I gave the scammer his Social Security number. I did not give mine. My bank statement showed Simpleportal,co, Borehamwood GB
