Type of a scam Online Purchase
I intended to purchase a trial basis of the Simply Fit Keto system. There was a trial basis on Facebook with celebrity status connected to the product appearing to be a spokesperson or someone endorsing the product. With the comfort zone of the celebrity they used, I currently follow I didn't hesitate to purchase the trial only.
As I attempted to read the information in reference to the product the ins and outs of ordering, the screens flip so quickly I couldn't read it effectively. I looked up and I was at the check out, I wasn't sweating it due to it only being $12 after shipping and handling. Now this was back on March 30th, fast forward to April 17th there was an additional unauthorized deduction out of my account for Benyard Beachbody.
Now, Beachbody is a household name, but I'm not sure if these people are associated with them. When I received the detox pills nothing came with it, no directions on how to or when to take, no welcome letter explaining what the additional $80.00 was for. I contacted the 800# for Beachbody and guess what, they couldn't find my order or an account. I called the 800# on the back of the bottle and of course the representative was across the pond.
The rep couldn't find me, for one I was not going to give him information to search me when they should have had me already listed by my name. The packing slip is so small you can't read the P.O. number with a bright ligth, glasses or a magnifying glass. As I was speaking with the rep he appeared to be fishing for information from me starting with my email address. I refused to give it to him, so I took it in my own hands and contacted my bank to reverse the charges and shut down my card.
I received an email after checking it for a couple of weeks and there's a welcome email from the support team of Fitm8world who is also connected to Beachbody. I called support back to get a reason why I had another deduction with no more product than the two bottles of pills. The young lady on the phone across the pond explained that there was a 14 day trial and if you didn't return it there would be an automatic deduction for the full cost. Well, if that were the case then that isn't a trial basis, a trial is just that.
I didn't read anything about a 14 day trial because the screens didn't stay in place long enought to read all about what was being purchased. The screen flipped to fast as stated I was at check out before I knew it. BUYER BEWARE......I don't know if somebody has a warehouse full of Beachbody products and using their name and celebrity status to promote whatever they're doing which appears to me taking unauthorized money.
DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING ON FACEBOOK IN REFERENCE TO ANY BEACHBODY PRODUCTS.....I suggest to go directly to the Beachbody website that I know to be reputable with their workout DVD world and fitness.
