Dogs were posted on an Instagram page as being for sale. As soon as I messaged them asking about price and availability, they were forthcoming. The messaging seemed a bit odd, as though they didn't speak English properly, but they sent pictures of the dog; however, they did seem to be professional-grade photos and when I asked for "normal" photos, they sent another one that looked relatively staged. The first attempt at Zelle didn't go through properly-- I couldn't find who they were saying to look for, so they gave another name/number and said it was their brother's account. That money was pending for the entire evening and then when I asked them for an update next morning, they finally said they would call their bank and then they later said it went through. I asked them to call me so we could discuss the pickup and they never responded; then when I called the number they provided, it sounded like a call center. The address shows up as a house on Google Maps, but who knows if that's their house. Seems very odd to me and now that I said I want my money back, they've gone silent and it's now 11AM, so I know they could have seen the message.
