So, I decided to look for the brand “Skims” teddy slippers. The official site has been on waiting list for these slipper, so I ventured out to possibly find them being sold elsewhere (used, like new). I googled and the site “ skims sales.com” popped up, they had them, free shipping too. The site looked very much like the official which I’ve purchased from… I know! I thought, just may be this is where all returns go? So, this site offers almost everything the official skims site sells. I placed my order, never received an order confirmation which I thought was fishy. Several days later, I emailed “the co” using the contact email on the site. They don’t have a phone #, but do show they are based in IN… I’ll come back to that. I was then emailed with a tracking No and emailed had misspelled words and just very short. 2 weeks later, I sent another email, letting them know the pkg was untraceable, showing no more movement and it was coming from Asia, pls cancel order! Received a reply, surprisingly and was told to be patient, this being 3weeks later! Fwd, 5weeks later, my pkt… yes, a 3ounce pkt, not pkg! The tracking number she kept referring to, that she emailed me and even screenshots of the item in transit was in fact in transit, it was just not what I ordered. The small lil bag with that tracking no in my emails for weeks arrived, and, it was a silver coated men’s ring in a cheap box! Again! I fell into this scam! In 2020 I had the the issue with obviously a different scammer. You purchase something bigger, they send you something worthless and then when you file a claim. Like I did with my bank, they said the merchant had done their part b mailing you your product and they have provided proof of delivery. They wouldn’t hear me out that time and I lost $160 dollars. This time it’s much less but the same scam. Going back to the present scam… deduction from my account shows from Singapore. The pkt received has a Male first, last name, and address from Texas, but site address is in IN, pkt first travel state where usps picked up was in NY., but mailed from a male in TX ( so, label reads that)!?! I’m confused myself. It is so hard to catch these ppl, but just pulling/shutting down this site, yesterday, would help so many ppl from being scammed during the holidays… any day! I almost purchased several other items, but I’m glad I didn’t. I just wanted to see the quality of what I thought, of a returned item warehouse the co had. So, is what I thought in my mind.
