scam, scam, scam! I was charged $4.95 for a free sample, how dumb I was. I reeived a jar of skin remembered. Then came the credit card statement and I see a charge of $4.95 by "see ur health" Ph 844 291 8827 for $4.95. I called to verify that was for the free sample. But I also had a charge for $94.99 by "DefendUrBeauty.com" Ph 833 839 5493, calla ssnwered by "ID 272". Looked into it and explained the $.95 shipping charge and the 94.99 charge for the product because I did not CANCEL! Cancel what? Total scam and I alerted my credit card. They have 10000 different names for 1 lousy product. I did not even realize that the $4.95 charge was related to the $94.99 charge way down the page...forgot to dispute the $4.95!

This just in! I was one of the lucky ones who received a response, but I threatened to hear back by 12/01/20 or I would contact my bank. Once I found this website, I directly contacted my bank so I will not be responding to their email below.

Hello Holly,

Thank you for contacting Skin Remembered email support.

We apologize for any confusion. The package you received is a full thirty day supply, we do not offer sample sizes. We sent you a full size bottle and allow you to try it for the 14 day trial period to see if you like it, for just the cost of shipping and handling. If you like the product after your trial, you are billed for the actual cost of the product and enrolled in a monthly subscription. The reason we send you a full 30 day supply to try is because of the overwhelming response and feedback from customers who love the product, and want to continue seeing their results.

I cancelled out your account. The account cancellation number confirming this is CBAC54C28FD. Therefore, nothing else will be sent nor billed to you.

If you are interested in keeping it we would like to offer you a 75% refund on your original purchase. Please email me back either accepting this offer or let know me if you still want me to process your cancellation request. We look forward to hearing back from you! If you have further questions regarding the refund, we suggest contacting your financial institution.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach back out to us via email or phone.

Thank you for being a valued customer.

Where did u find an email? Please provide.
That phone number just does one solid ring not valid phone numbers on bank acct are 833- malware numbers

I ordered a free product as part of Ulta's going out of business sale--just pay $4.95 shipping! Received notice on Nov 3, 2020 that it would arrive in 5-7 business days. Still has not arrived and the tracking number with UPS is invalid. Checked to see when my $4.95 was charged and only found a charge from SkinRemembered on Nov 18, 2020 for $94.99. After seeing these posts, I skipped dealing with SkinRemebered and went straight to my credit card company to dispute--first time ever I have had to do so.

I had the exact same thing 94.99 charged as “see ur health” & also a 6.95 charge charged as power healthy the same day as
The shipping fee $4.95 was charged same day under look healthy.

Beware, when I looked further into my credit card account I noticed I was being charged twice monthly. Once for 97.88 and once for 94.99 monthly. When I finally got hold of someone they offered me up to a 60% discount on their garbage products but would not refund my money. I told her I would even send back the products unopened but she refused. She then asked if I disputed the charges with my bank or credit card company and I didn’t answer and she got angry and said she would not even tell me if I could get a refund unless I conferenced my bank in on the call and cancelled any dispute. I refused and she hung up on me.

I responded to a JC Penny Sephora store closing add and paid the 4.95 shipping charge. It said no further charges would be incurred and no additional shipments would be made. I have three additional charges for 97.88 from different merchants listed every month. They ship these products that I don’t want. I called the number on the invoice and it just rings and rings. No one answers. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and they are looking into it. It the mean time I can’t get in touch with anyone!?

On November 2, I signed up for the free items for the cost of shipping $4.95. I received the package with NO paperwork or instructions. I have tried the items. Then on November 23, I got a charge for $97.88 from Beauty360 Care out of Scottsdale, AZ, same place I had ordered the "free" items from. Could not find a working number so I called the number associated with the original $4.95 shipping charge. they had my information and stated the charge was the "free" items I had received because I had not cancelled the trial within the 14 day period. I told them there was NOTHING on the website about a trial and cancelling before 14 days. They said there was noting they could do about it. I contacted my bank but their hands were tied. I called back and spoke with a "supervisor" who happened to be the same person I spoke with the first time I called. He finally agreed to give me a 75% refund of $73.41 after I threatened to contact my bank. SCAM!There is NO fine print anywhere!

I responded as well to the ULTA store closing promotion. Clearly it stated that this is not a subscription and a one time charge of $4.95 for shipping would occur. I became uncomfortable with proceeding with the order after I entered my information and got out of the order. It still processed and my credit union flagged it. After speaking to two "Agents" for skin remembered I am told that my order is canceled and the $4.95 will be refunded, but not until they tried to give me a huge run around and even offered to charge me $29.95 to cancel! However, no emails were ever sent to me. So I have emailed customer service, gave them the "confirmation number" I was given from the agent and we will see what happens.

I saw an ad on FB that an Ultra store was closing and they were giving away skin care products the buyer only had to pay shipping. I received the products on 11-17-20. The packing slip included had a customer care phone # to call with any questions or problems. Today 11-23-20 I tried to call to cancel my subscription. I called the # they
had listed. I called at 10AM and again at 5:15PM. It rang, rang, rang, not a normal ring. Needless to say they did not answer. To me this is a scam when you cannot call to cancel. They already have your credit card # so they just charge away. So I can't find an address for them and no working phone #. If any other info needed, please contact me.

SCAM! I PURCHASED SAMPLES FROM AN INSTAGRAM AD THAT WAS SUPPOSEDLY TIED TO NEIMAN MARCUS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS! I RECEIVED A CREAM AMD SERUM WHICH I DID NOT USE. I BEGAN TO GET SUSPICIOUS WHEN RHE SHIPMENT WAS LATE WITH INCORRECT TRACKING INFO. AFTER READING SCAM REVIEWS I TURNED OFF MY CARD! I'M GLAD I DID BECAUSE THEY JUST TRIED TO RUN MY CARD AND IT WAS BLOCKED BY MY BANK $94.99 DURING A PANDEMIC LOW DOWN! THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED!

reading all these complaints and they are identical to what's happened to me, except the $90+ hasn't been charged to my bank card yet. My sister advised what a SCAM this probably was, and now I'm finding it is on this website. The customer service phone number has a brief message then disconnects.

The number you need is on your order confirmation. It is so sad. I have been charged. I did just speak with someone but would not refund the 200. The number you need is 844-564-7891.

Call your bank and let them know. I called mine today after talking to, Ace.. (yes, that's the name he gave me, and I even asked him.. Really.. that's the name you're going with).. I told him I'd read this page, everyone knows it's a scam, and I'd better not see one charge come up on my bank page. I let him know I was calling my bank as soon as I hung up, which I did. If any charges come in, I am to notify them, and they will be dealt with, as soon as it clears. I feel so stupid for falling for this.. I was told I had signed up for a subscription.. which I had absolutely not done.. I, like everyone here, was told it was due to the pandemic, and Sephora, (or whatever trusted store they used), had inventory they were giving away, for shipping only. I have a confirmation number, since I cancelled, within the 14 period. (thanks to you ladies), but he tried to charge me 30.00 for keeping what they had sent me. I told him.. not one dime better come out of that account, (3 times).. he was obviously angry, and I don't trust him or any of them, so I called my bank. Keep and eye on your statements, and the banks will handle it. I think this is a pretty big scam. Thank you guys, and good luck! :)

I went to a JC Penny web link that said they were closing stores but would send beauty products to try so I could order more online. I paid the shipping and handling fee only. There was no mention of it being a trial that had to be cancelled. Product arrived in a white box with return address of:
Fulfillment Warehouse Shipping Debb11551 E 45th Ave, Unit C. Denver, CO. Inside was a piece of paper with the order date, shipment details and order details. NO company information.
Today, 11/12/20, I checked my bank transactions and saw a processing charge for $94.99 for a company called Powerup Beauty. I went into my bank and deactivated my ATM card and have to file a claim against the company once the transaction is complete.

I purchased a moisturizer and serum from them for 6.95 and 4.95. It was supposed to be Neiman Marcus liquidation stock. Less than two weeks later I get 2 charges on that venmo card I used for 94+ and 96+ dollars from a company called year of the health. I only had 6 bucks on my venmo card but Venmo started draining my bank account and gave me no purchase alerts...I have never used the card without being notified immediately of the charge. Now my account is overdrawn, they pushed through the payments for the charge through my bank account and now I can't pay a cc bill on time so my rate is going to go up.

I was on a JCPenneys website and they were advertising Skin Care Products. I tried one product and was suppose to be charged 4.95 only for shipping and handling I checked for hidden fees and there were none. Now they are charging me 94.00 and the product is worthless! At first they wanted to give it to me with a 30% discount then a 60% discount. I told them it was worthless then she started to yell at me and hung up on me.

If you have the phone number you called I would appreciate it if you could give it to me. Then number I call just rings and rings and no one answers.

I fell for another scam, using JC PENNEY as a decoy! I have just spent an hour talking with someone in who knows where! refuses to refund money and same speal over and over! Wants small samples returned to a Denver address, with a 20% restocking fee! see several similar complaints. what is being done about it
?

I purchased 2 trial samples for a total of $11.92 shipping and handling fees. The website clearly states I would be charged no additional fees or products. After 14 days my credit card was charged $94.99. It was from a company I did not recognize so I called my credit card. They stated that I failed to call and end a trial period for the product and am now signed up for a monthly fee. I called the company they refused to remove the charge and the next day I had an additional $97.88 with yet another name for additional products. Per Skin Remembered, thet will only give you a discount on the next product ordered but not refund your money. I ordered through a JC Pennys link I have saved. This is a SCAM stay far away!

I saw an add on FB stating that JC Penney was going out of business and that you could get free skin products just pay shipping. I received the products and today I noticed a charge on my account for $100.00. I did not see anywhere of any further charges and now I can't get in touch with anyone ?
