I was directed to this company by a "literary agent" that claimed to want to represent me. I was promised a contract by a publishing company that claimed to want to acquire my book. The letter of intent outlined pre-requisites that had to be done prior to the contract signing and I would then be reimbursed when the contract was signed. The pre-requisites were to be done by Professional Development Agency LLC. I paid by e-check (2) for services (re-licensing, book editing/formatting, and book insurance) to Professional Development Agency LLC. For these "completed services" (re-licensing and book insurance), I received documentation from them that turned out to be utterly bogus. Through the same agent, I then had interest by a movie producer that supposedly wanted to develop a film adaptation. That letter of intent was similar as there were pre-requisites that had to be done prior to the contract signing and I would then be reimbursed when the contract was signed. Those pre-requisites could also be handled by the same company, Professional Development Agency LLC. I paid by check (2) to Professional Development Agency LLC for those services. For those pre-requisites, none of the stated services were done and I was unable to reach my "agent" and Professional Development Agency LLC after multiple attempts on my part to contact, even though all checks were cashed by them.
