Type of a scam Online Purchase
It's a total scam. You never gave them any consent for them to charge you over $300 on your credit card. All you agreed on is a small amount of shipping fee. However, the VISA will not help you unless you have the proof that you didn't agree on the term. How could you have a proof that you didn't agree? It's the devil's proof.
I hope the authority is on top of this type of scam, but it appears that neither TD Bank nor VISA itself can do anything to stop it. I don't understand why though. When I was working for a small company, VISA did through screening for us to be enrolled with VISA and they can cease any suspicious transaction whenever reported. I don't get why the VISA still have business with them and getting the administrative fee from them. I don't know if it's 1% or 2% what so ever, VISA got at least $30 out of this fraud transactions. I am canceling my VISA card to avoid any future transactions I didn't agree on since VISA cannot decline the future transactions even though they are getting complaints daily...
I phoned this fraud company several times and demanded to email me the confirmation of cancellation of this so-called "auto-shipment" agreement, but they only emailed me for one product and never emailed me for another product that I actually didn't order even the sample. It was an ad associated with the original order for a sample and the website got crashed at the end without my confirmation. I am struggling to get a written notice to confirm the cancelation. According to the VISA, they can continue charging me for "auto-shipment" forever, and they cannot do anything to stop it unless I get the email confirmation of the cancellation which is ridiculous. I have been calling them several times, they are the one never emailed me the confirmation but I can get charged. Even if I cancel my credit card to avoid the future charge from this fraud company, they can still continue charging me and forward me for a collection company with bad credit history.
I am so stuck with this never-ending fraud... Please be aware of it.
