Type of a scam Online Purchase
On roughly May 10th, I received one of the shirts that I had ordered. When it was not what I ordered, I reached out to the sender and noticed it was from a merchant in China that was not the same web address as what I had ordered. It shows up as [email protected] on my credit card statement. I told them shirt received was not what I ordered and they claim that it is.
The website, www.skritbeach.com said it was a cotton/linen shirt and what I received was a material that feels like parachute material and it has no tags of any kind. That is not cotton/linen!
I have dug deeper into the website www.skirtbeach.com, and although it seems like it is a legit site, I have read some reports from other users that are now stating it may not be.
I was sent tracking stating there was another delivery on 5/12/22 to my mailbox and when I went to look, it was not there. I gave it a couple days thinking if the carrier made a mistake and either didn’t put it in the correct box or still had it, they would come back and correct the mistake. That did not happen, so I went to the post office and asked about it. The lady at the counter pulled up my tracking # and stated something was not correct since the person for my route scanned the package twice and there still was no package. The second tracking # when pulled up by the post office states it was not received by the post office. So now I have one shirt that is not the shirt I ordered, 1 outfit that says it was delivered that I still don’t have and the other 2 items from my order that the post office says it never received. I don’t have what I ordered and I am out the $115.17 I spent.
