On 27 July, 2023, this scammer called on land line, using an area code 415 number (presumably spoofed). Scammer claimed to be from my "TV Service Provider". I do not have a TV service provider. Scammer claimed that my bill was unpaid, and that my service would be cut off. He handed me over to "his supervisor", who gave me the name of the company, its address and zip code. I was supposed to send a check to this address. The address is a single family home in Brick Township, NJ. He said he would call back to confirm that I had sent the check. Scammers both had strong Indian or Pakistani accents.

Of course, I did not send him a check. I am amazed that he is still in business as a scammer - should have been shut down months ago.
