I was trying to buy a used jeep hood from a private party in Columbus, Ohio. He said that the hood was $300 +$50 Shipping to my door. I sent $350 through Cash App. A couple days later I received an email confirmation that my hood was at the Shipping company. They also stated that I would need a pay a "refundable delivery insurance fee" . Refundable when the item is delivered. I googled the company and seen pretty good reviews so, I sent $350 to them through cash app fully expecting to get my money returned. Then they another email saying that upon delivery I would need to pay a "nonrefundable" $650 for taxes and duty fees. I told them to forget it. I told them that I bought a used hood from a private party so there is no taxes and it was being sent from 3 states away not from another country so there wouldn't be any duty fees either. Just refund my $350 and tell the seller to come get his hood. Then they emailed back and said that I would have to pay $200 in order to send the hood back. I'm also going to file another complaint against the seller because he keeps telling just to pay the shipping company. I told him to refund my money also and he keeps telling me to pay the shipping company.
