I've been out of work for 3 months and I have been on hundreds of career sites and have placed my resume out there on all kinds of websites. So, I received an email with a detailed job description letter from Skyrise International Holdings LLC stating that they reviewed my resume that I had posted on one of the Career Job sites and they were interested in me and how they thought my skills and experience were a match for what they were looking for by their recruiting manager David Karchner. Next, the Managing Director Christian Kupferschmid sent me a Terms of Employment Letter detailing the duties, hours of work, salary and commission, compensation/benefits, at-will employment, probation period, and a target start date. So David Karchner sends me an email with an offer letter and I9 indicating that the offer would be contingent on my background check. So after a few emails back and forth with my reporting manager Alisa Sternberg I tried looking up everything possible about this company Skyrise International Holdings LLC and I found a little info then communicated with Alisa that I can hardly find any information about their company and that I tried to contact the office building directly and it keeps going to voicemail. So she told me because of the virus they are all working remotely and that I should just call her directly. She then sent me an email that contained 6 attachments that included the company's IRS Identification form, Articles of Organization Acknowledgement Copy, New York Department of State Division of Corporations and State Records, Certificate of Verification and another form in another language. The email also included 8 different links to review their company. So, I reviewed everything and everything looked legitimate, so I accepted the offer. For my very first and only transaction I was tasked with going out and purchasing a whole list of Apple products of which I was to purchase all on the same day and ship to an address in Hong Kong for an additional 7% commission and as soon as I had the receipts I had to take pictures of them along with the tracking information for them to reimburse me on my credit card on the same day. Well, needless to say I was NOT able to find any Apple Products that were on the list so I tried contacted the manager Alisa via email and phone to see what do I need to do if I could not find any of the products on the list and there was no response, that was on Friday July 10, 2020 and she never called or responded the entire weekend. On Saturday July 11, 2020 I received a notice from my Norton Life Lock and my Capital One Credit wise Identity Protection at 10pm that my email and ssn was found on the Darkweb. So I went to YouTube and started doing more research on Scams, specifically for Skyrise and found nothing, I looked up purchasing manager scams and didn't really find anything, lastly I looked up home shipping scams and there were a few of them that resembled the process in which Skyrise was asking me to do, however they have not nor did they ever communicate that I would be receiving any form of shipments at my resident to ship, just purchasing and shipping to whatever address they provide. So early that Sunday morning after checking all of my accounts, I sent the manager Alisa an email letting her know my information popped up on the Dark Web and they were the last people I provided any of my personal information to and how there must have been a God looking over me on Friday when I could not find any of the products she had on her list. Today July 13, 2020, the manager Alisa communicated to me via email that they are a legitimate company, this is why they are not asking for any information from my part and for any investments, and re-emphasized that they are a legal company and sent more links for me to validate their company. She has tried calling and I haven't answered any of her calls at this time. I would like to know if this is a legitimately LEGAL company to work for or is this a scam. Please help me research.
