I purchased $28 of coffee from Slate Coffee Roasters from the recommendation of a friend in Seattle. The coffee never arrived. When I inquired over their email addresses, phone numbers, and social media, I received no responses. One phone was out of service and the other belonged to a woman who didn’t understand why people kept calling her about coffee. I checked Reddit and saw that this has happened to many other people. A couple years ago, the company simply stopped fulfilling orders but has not been taken down as they continue to scam people.
