I was contacted by SLH Real Estate, who informed me that my timeshare was having changes. They could not give me specifics on how they got my phone number, and they tried to make it sound like they were with the resort at first.
After being very skeptical, they assured me they were legitimate. If only I would have known the truth before they scammed my money.
I worked with SLH Real Estate for over a month, in the end they told me I would need to pay money for my timeshare because of some mexican laws but after I paid it, I found out they were a scam.
My bank told me they were a scam and not to proceed with the wire transfer for the payment with SLH for my timeshare. Unfortunately, I did. However afterwards I contacted a friend who lived in Denver and he drove to their address. The entire SLH Real Estate company doesn't even exist at there address. My friend asked the guard on duty and he said he's never even heard of them.
The company SLH Real Estate had no explanation, they simply kept trying to bring my attention back to the scam and were asking me to pay AGAIN. For a second charge.
I have reported them to the FBI, who has also confirmed they are a scam and are currently being investigated with great progress of the real location where they reside.
