I was contacted by someone claiming to be from Kelly's Employment agency. The job was using Smarketors website to increase the hits on products for their clients, increasing the product placement on searchboards. You have to invest $100 in cryptocurrency to start with, and you get a percentage for each item you promote using the "task" button on their site; VIP level one is $100. You get %1 for every product. You get 40 products and can do this in three rounds. Then you cash out. What happens is they have doubles. So if one product is $78 and you get a double for $90 you are left paying the negative balance. You have to deposit the $68 dollars to complete the task or you cannot cash out and get paid. So today, I started out with my $300 in VIP level 1, which gives you %1 and 40 products. halfway through, I got a double, which required me to come up with another $300 to clear it and finish the set so I could cash out. So, I deposited the $300 and immediately got another double, making me negative again, but this time, I'm in debt for $800 more than the starting. So, in order for me to get my money back, they wanted me to deposit another almost $900, or I can't get my money back. What started off with me putting $100 in this morning cost me $500 more, and now they want $887 more to complete the tasks, which could double again, expecting me to put more in. This is extortion. I feel targeted and that they know they can keep increasing your debit until you can't cover it, and when you can't, they take your money.. When this happened the first day. I expressed my concerns to my trainer, who said it rarely happens, and if I pay for it, it is not a problem. I said what if I can't pay for it and she said not to worry about it; it rarely happens.
