Smart Card told us we qualified for a wholesale rate in our credit card processing and showed us discounted rates and fees that would save us up to 60% a month in processing fees.

We set up the new terminal and began processing customer's cards. The first couple of days were ok. Then we started getting cards decline, several cards. We reported this and were told they were legit declines. After about 13 declines we knew they were not legit. Smart Card technical and customer support quit taking or returning our calls and emails. We have almost $10,000. run on customer cards that was never deposited to our bank. Now they have our bank information and our customers card information. Smart Card is a SCAM!!!!!

I received a call today from this number 404-947-7930. They say they are Smart Card Merchant Services, a national enhanced interchange provider. They want to help low risk preferred merchants lower their rates. They are over/above all credit card merchants and banks. This number has called numerous times on our business line asking to speak with the owner of the company. They leave a detailed message with their name, company name (Smart Card Merchant Services) and a record ID number, stating that there has been a change to our merchant services account and would only speak to the owner regarding important changes. She refused to speak with me, insisting she could only speak to the owner. We don't have an account with Smart Card Merchant Services so there is no way that there has been a change to our account.
