This person Luis Quintero claims to be a casting director that is shooting a commercial for a company called Bon Prix. I reached out to Bon Prix which is based in the UK and they claim to have no knowledge of this project. This scam asks for your address to send you *** dollars so that you can then send that to a wardrobe person, or a fashion designer.
They claim that "the funds will be mailed in one payment to you from one of the sponsor for the event. As soon as you receive the check, you'll deduct $*** endorsed for your booking and forward the rest of the funds to the fashion stylist in charge of your wardrobe which will cover for your wardrobe, customization, shipment charges and insurance. The remaining $*** compensation balance will be paid to you upon at the location upon completion of the shoot." They claim that a remainder of *** will be paid out upon completion of the shoot, however there usually isn't one and they try to hold you responsible for a percentage of the "booking fee" that they sent. They ask you to send a contract which concerns me as they clearly intend to hold you responsible for something.
Below are some of the emails that I received.

Our obligation in respect to this project is to generate some marketable commercial advertisement to feature our clients items, where all models will pose in various attires ( costumes ) and exhibit a commercial character to attract consumers' attention. It is very simple and works the same as any typical promotional or commercial advert shoot.
Please check carefully our shoot dates listed above and confirm your availability so we can proceed with next step.

The emails continue and the scam goes on...
We will be responsible for your hair-do, make-up artist and transportation, except for your wardrobe/costume that will be shipped to you directly from a contracted fashion stylist in charge. Your wardrobe for the commercial will be shipped to you directly from a contracted fashion stylist. A check will be mailed to you from our client out of which you'll deduct $500 for your booking fee and you'll use the left over fund to pay for your wardrobe cost reason being that, the payment for your wardrobe has to be made or billed to your name as requested and acceptable business terms by the fashion stylist, to ensure a tallied customization and label to be printed on your costumes and your clothing measurements has to be forwarded to the fashion stylist.
Actors/Models may attend the shoot with their choice of Friends/Parents/Manager/Spouse/Guardian (maximum of two) and should not arrive the location later than 9:30 a.m to commence make-up and attend a brief introductory class about the proposed project and shoot starts by 10:15 a.m. This shoot is going to be fun as different acting characters maybe involved, which is the real sense of this project.
Attached to this email is a contract agreement i need you to endorse by printing it out, review and sign it, then email me back with a copy of the signed contract so i can commence with further arrangements.
I hope to read from you as soon as possible and we look forward to working with you on this project.
Please advise me as to how to handle this scam and about what can be done in the future to prevent this from happening to myself our anyone else again.
Thank you,

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I would get to keep $***, but the rest of the check I would send as a payment to the wardrobe stylist. They even drew up a phony contract for me to sign.
This is a common scam used in the modeling industry. The check will bounce from the individuals bank account and the payment sent to the “wardrobe stylist” will be taken from your bank account and never seen again.
People are absolutely disgusting.
