The interview was done via Telegram app IM. It stated Just did a job interview for one of the work from home jobs. The interview was very indepth until I was asked for my banking information to see if it was the same one that they used. I declined to give the information until after I was hired. Later, they began to ask for personal information. I began to research the company and started seeing scam alerts. I called the acutal company in CA Smart Modular Technologies only to be told that they were aware of the scam and that Nicoholas Carter did not work for them. I informed my interviewer and the IM information was deleted from the app without a response.
I informed Zip Recruiter and now the same company is using another platform to offer the same job. This is what I was told in the interview.
The starting pay for this position is $30.00/hour and during training hours $23.00/hour. You will be paid Weekly/ Bi-weekly via direct deposit or Paycheck. 40-45 hours is the maximum working hours you can work a week. You will be working as permanent employee and not an Independent Contractor.
