In looking for a breeder of Papillon dogs, I found this web site purporting to have an 11 week old puppy with all its shots and checked out by a veterinarian and wanting a deposit to hold that dog for me. I requested a copy of the vets report before sending the deposit and they quit talking to me! I checked the phone number and found it to be in California, not Pennsylvania as they told me.
