I received an email through Indeed from a company called Joe's Landscaping & Concrete, Inc. for a Quality Control Inspector but the email said to return name and phone number to - [email protected]. I then received an email stating that I was hired for this position and to fill out a form on this website https://smart-wave-inspect.com/form/. I filled it out and then I received a call from Alexis Anderson, HR Department, SmartWave Inspect, LLC. After call I received an email telling me to fill out employment agreement and to san or take a pic of my driver license. I did, then I received a email with a link https://smart-wave-inspect.com/panel/user telling me to sign into my dashboard with a user name and password they sent. Once I went through the training. I got a message from a lady name Christina Taylor, Supervisor, SmartWave Inspect, LLC. She gave me all the instructions on how the process was going to work. I then checked the task tab on the dashboard and accepted my first task. I took pictures of the item uploaded to the dashboard and waited for them to send me a label to ship out the package. Once shipped I was told by Christina I would get paid $2800 base salary and $25 per package shipped but I would not receive my first payment till 12/22/23 today. I asked when will I receive my deposit since I had provide [email protected]. my personal bank account information to directly deposit my pay. I was told by Christina that I will receive payment by end of day and I still have not received a payment. I was a faithful employee and did everything that was asked of me and the questions I had ask Christina in previous times everything she said seem to accurate and never alarmed me as this was a scam until today. I did some research and found another person exactly like me that has had the very exact thing happen to her/him. They also reported that they never received any wages from this Company. I am very heartbroken an upset because I am unable to pay my rent or have any type of decent Christmas. Now my family and I are going to have to face eviction and other financial problems because of these scammers and now my family want have anything for Christmas not even Christmas Dinner. I hope these people are held responsible and are prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I didn't really believe in the Grinch but now I do. These scammers (The Grinch) truly stole our Christmas and destroyed our lives.
