Type of a scam Online Purchase
On September 10th, I received confirmation from a company called Express Corporate Couriers that they were shipping my order from Smartbuds with a tracking # 05779*****. The expected delivery date according to the courier was on 9/14/20 from Los Angeles, CA.
Since then, I've sent numerous messages to both Tim Monroe via e-mail as well as many voice messages. I've also tried contacting the shipping company and left numerous messages without any response.
Not only was I defrauded of $380.99, but I'm sure these people are taking advantage of other people as well. I contact the LA police dpt., and they referred me to you. So according the the courier (Express Corporate Couriers @ 719-285-9044) the order was going to be delivered on 9/14/20. Never got it! On 9/15/20, I received an email from [email protected], telling me that my package was being held in customs due to lack of the narcotic stamp, and in order for me to get it, I had to pay $250.00, which was going to be refunded by the sender, Tim Monroe, once the package was received. At this point, I knew this was a scam, and started calling both the shipper and courier without any luck.
I'm hoping that an investigation be initiated and that I get feedback @ *******@gmail.com. This is my e-mail, and where they sent me order received, and shipping confirmation as described above.
